What exactly counts as a managed entity?
A managed entity is any object Stigg makes a real-time enforcement decision for: a customer account with entitlements, a user with a subscription, an AI agent with a credit budget, or a team with a spending limit. One object counts as one entity no matter how many subscriptions or wallets it holds.
Do sandbox and test objects count toward my bill?
No. Sandbox, test, and inactive objects don't count. Dimensions with no active enforcement are free, so you only pay for entities Stigg is actively governing in production.
How does graduated pricing work on Pro?
Pro includes 10,000 entities and 25M events in the $399/mo base. Beyond that you pay per-tier graduated rates (entities at $0.07 then $0.04, and events at $30, $20, then $15 per million) so your unit cost drops as you scale.
What is BYOC and when should I use it?
BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) runs Stigg inside your own VPC, with optional BYODB and air-gapped deployments. There's no event billing and throughput is unlimited, which suits AI frontier labs and large enterprises with strict data sovereignty requirements.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing on Pro is $399/mo versus $499/mo monthly, 17% off. You can switch at any time and the change applies at your next billing cycle.
Is invoicing available on the free tier?
Yes. Native invoicing through Stigg, Stripe, and Airwallex is available on every plan, including Build. You don't need to upgrade to issue invoices to your own customers.
What happens if I exceed my plan's ceiling?
Each plan has an entity and event ceiling. As you approach it we'll reach out to move you to committed blocks on Scale, which unlock higher rate limits and volume discounts. Nothing breaks, enforcement keeps running.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Build plan is free forever with no credit card required. You get the full credits and entitlements engine, Stripe and HubSpot integrations, and community support out of the box.
